Author Guidelines



The submitted manuscript to the Editor should be a text that has not been published and not submitted simultaneously in other scientific journals for publication, either in Indonesian or English.

The submitted Manuscripts must be included (form attached) following documents:

  1. Approval letter of publication and a letter of introduction signed by researcher / writer and the rest of the authors.
  2. Affidavit that ensures that the submitted manuscript has not been published in other media.
  3. Statement of the original works of author / researcher that refers the submitted manuscript is free from plagiarism or the research is not conducted following other research.
  4. Letter of approval from the local Committee of Ethical Research

The manuscript should not exceed 20 quarto pages / A4, double spaced, front: Times New Roman 12, Microsoft Word format, the boundaries of the edge (margin) 3.5 cm for the top and bottom, and 2.0 cm for the left and right.

Research Article

It should have an original research article in the field of medicine and health. Systematics of this article include:

  • The manuscript should contain title of heading and subheading, abstract, introduction, methods of research, research results, discussion and conclusion.
  • Title Page
    • The title page should contain: 1) The title, which should be concise but informative, use uppercase / capital, the long title should be divided into subheadings, bold (bold) with the Times New Roman front 14, single-spaced and located in the middle (center) (2) name of the author, written under the title without a degree of academic owned, starting with the last name and abbreviation of first name, beginning with a capital letter, without beginning with the word "by", the order of the authors should be first author followed by the second author, third and so on, given the superscript, font size 10 (3) name of the Department or Agency (4) Full name of the author and the title and address of the author (electronic, non-electronic, telephone number) for correspondence, (5) should be included summary of title for the head page (header ).
  • Abstract :
    • Should be written in Indonesian and English
    • Should be bold (bold), number of words in the abstract no more than 250 words and type 1 spaced, Times New Roman font 11, as well as the letter straight to the abstract in Indonesian and Italics to the abstract in English, and include titles in English.
    • Should be consisted of background, research objective, methodology, results, conclusion and keyword. This part of the section titles in bold, and the spaces between sections.
    • The content section should be presented with mean left and right and written without indent at the beginning of the sentence.
  • Introduction
    • Should be written without subtitle, contain background, a little review of the literature and research purposes.
  • Research Methodology
    • Should be described in detail, design, population, sample, data sources, techniques / instruments collecting data, data analysis procedures, time and place of study.
  • Result and Discussion:
    • Analysis should be accurate and argumentative; the results should be related with appropriate and systematic theory.
    • Tables or figures should be numbered in the text sequentially, written 1 (one) spaced, Times New Roman 11. The title should be precise and clear, located above the table and flat table. Title of picture should be short and clear,  located below the image and flat images. Maximum number of tables or pictures should be six (6) in one (1) manuscript.
  • Conclusion and Suggestion
    • Conclusion should be the answer of research problem, unequivocal statement. Suggestion should be logical, appropriate and not be pretended.
  • Bibliography or References
    • Should be written according to the rules of Vancouver, sequence should be appropriate with appearance in the overall text.
    • 80% of the publications should be cited from the last 10 years, and represent the initial reference.
    • Front should be Times New Roman, size 11, single spaced between number without space.

Literature review

  • The manuscript should be the comprehensive analysis of specific topic.
  • The manuscript should be limited to 5000 words.
  • Content of manuscript:
    • Page Titles (appropriate manuscript title page of research result)
    • Abstract should be written in Indonesian and English.
    • Keywords should be  maximum  10 words and not to repeat of words in the title
    • Introduction should contain definition, background and importance of the problem, goals and research contribution.
    • The literature review should be the description of the problem and contain enough resource material of related research.
    • The discussion should be appropriate with the issues discussed in the literature review, mixed with opinions and arguments, which are relevant to the problems.
    • Conclusion should be according to the summary and discussion.
    • References (according to the instructions of writing references)

Case Report

  • The manuscript should not exceed more than 2000 word.
  • Content of manuscript
    • The title page (appropriate manuscript title page of case study)
    • Abstracts should not be more than 250 words, written in Indonesian and English. Abstract goals should be set forth in writing, a brief overview of the case should be discussed and conclusion should form the subject of cases discussion. Keywords should not exceed 10 words, and not to repeat the words in the title.
    • Introduction should contain definition and background of the problem, or experience of other people's writing briefly about the same issues and the interests of the case, reason for reported.
    • Review of Literature should be appropriate and closely related to the case. Rooted in the study of literature is made, then made a summary as a basis for discussion
    • Case report should be made a brief but complete, described the difficulty of diagnosis, treatment, observation including the failure and success of the case.
    • Discussion should contain the comparison of result with experience or existing literature.
    • Conclusion should sum up of the results and discussion, and answer of research question. Suggestion should be logical, appropriate and not be based on pretend.
    • References (in accordance with the guidelines for writing a review Ref.)
