Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy for AJIM Publications (Effective 2025)

Dear Authors,

We would like to inform you that starting in 2025, Asian Journal of Islamic Management (AJIM ) will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) for the authors. This APC is essential to ensure the journal’s sustainability and continuous improvement in quality, covering costs related to manuscript processing, peer-review management, digital archiving, and open access to a wider academic audience.

The APC details are as follows:

Indonesian authors or collaborations between Indonesian institutions: IDR 2,000,000
Indonesian authors collaborating with at least one foreign-affiliated author: IDR 1,500,000
Authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia: No APC required

This policy was implemented to support the long-term development of AJIM while encouraging international collaboration in Islamic management research.

Accreditation Results of AJIM – Upgraded to Sinta 2

We are pleased to share the accreditation results for the Asian Journal of Islamic Management (AJIM). Based on the Minutes of Determination of Journal Accreditation Results for Period I of 2025, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology has issued Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025, regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period I of 2025.

We are delighted to announce that AJIM has successfully upgraded its accreditation status from Sinta 4 to Sinta 2. This reaccreditation applies from Volume 6, Issue 1 (2024), to Volume 10, and Issue 2 (2028).

We are delighted to announce a Call for Papers for the Asian Journal of Islamic Management (AJIM) and invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit their manuscripts.

Scope of AJIM:

We welcome submissions for a wide range of topics related to Islamic management. Areas of interest include the marketing of Islamic financial products and services, halal supply chain and operations management, halal tourism and hospitality management, and halal foods, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and toiletries. Additionally, we sought papers on Muslim consumer behavior, Islamic codes of conduct and ethics, Islamic leadership, takaful, zakah, waqf management, and the intersection of Islam with technology, strategic management, and cross-cultural issues.
