Profil Kedudukan Dan Peran Pegawai Edukatif Universitas Islam Indonesia dalam Perspektif Gender
This research of employee lecturerâ€™s role and status at UII in gender perspective was to know the role and status at UII, then it was to find the factors that caused the role and status gap -between women and men employee lecturers-at UII. The research was also to find the unit level that caused the role and status gap -between women and men employee lecturer-at UII. The result of this research, there was difference role and status between women and men employeeâ€™s lecturer at UII that restricted them to have significant role and to have significant status as an ideal employeeâ€™s lecturersâ€™ role. That matters were caused by, first, the difference of gender that was showed by 10 negative aspects from 18 aspects. Second, it was caused by the child that they had. It was showed by 10 negative aspects from 18 aspects. Third, it was caused by structural status that was showed by 15 negative aspects from 18 aspects to become an ideal employeeâ€™s lecturer. Totally, employeeâ€™s lecturer had 41 negative aspects (76%) and 13 positive aspects (24%) to become an ideal employeeâ€™s lecturer. The differences that happened were caused by, first, the women employeeâ€™s lecturer themselves. Second, the restriction of culture in their women internal perspective caused their political power at the men employee lecturersâ€™ sight and the work environment generally was not equal as the men status.
