One of the natural material commodities that has great potential is essential oil which is included in the plantation agribusiness sub-sector. So far, the essential oil industry has only maintain at the home industry and is still feeling the way in place. The study and development of techniques and knowledge about the benefits and applications of essential oils by involving research institutions both in the government and in universities has not been clearly known by most of the public. Essential oils produced by the Indonesian people are not yet popular even though in their daily lives the community is very close and even involved in the use of essential oil ingredients. Innovation and creation of essential oil derivative products involving various partners are new development challenges that must be faced by research institutions owned by universities and government-owned in order to jointly increase the nation's sustainable competitiveness. Center of Essential Oil Studies (CEOS UII) supports joint efforts between the government and the business sector even at the UMKM level so that technology dissemination takes place intensively and evenly, including the use of natural resources that are being innovatively developed and the diversification of the utilization of derivative and formulative products. Agribusiness and essential oil agroindustry business actors need to be used as partners so that the development of essential oil innovation and utility can be broad and even. Superior essential oil products need to be developed in suitable areas, using quality plant materials, and applying good cultivation methods to increase productivity and quality as well as variety of plant types. This activity will make one region produce superior and mainstay products that are highly competitive and give birth to partnerships that support each other and provide solutions to local and regional problems as quickly as possible. Indonesia's agro-industry and essential oil agribusiness are faced with two main problems, namely low quality and fluctuating prices. One of the solutions is an extensification and intensification program in the commodity and non-commodity sectors of essential oils. The essential crop extensification program needs to consider market absorption and prioritize the regional program of a region's mainstay commodity. The intensification program is prioritized to increase the productivity and quality of essential oil raw materials. This is intended so as not to pose a risk of loss for essential oil farmers.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dwiarso Rubiyanto, Muhammad Miqdam Musawwa, Nurcayo Iman Prakoso, Cecep Sa'bana Rahmatillah, Matkli Dimas Astriyanto Saputrohttps://journal.uii.ac.id/JAMALI/article/view/46495Digitalisasi Manajemen Proyek melalui Project Managament Information System (PMIS) Berbasis Spreadsheet pada Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Perusahaan Konsultan Teknik2026-01-15T06:48:34+00:00Alexander Saputra[email protected]Farrel Maisoon Maulana[email protected]Salma Agustien[email protected]Intan Permatasari[email protected]Ika Arum Puspita[email protected]
This Community Service (Abdimas) program aims to enhance project management capabilities at PT Tritech Consult Indonesia through training and implementation of a Project Management Information System (PMIS) based on spreadsheets. As an engineering consulting company, PT Tritech Consult Indonesia manages various complex projects involving multiple resources and cross-functional coordination. However, project management has largely been conducted manually using conventional, non-integrated applications, resulting in limitations in data accuracy, information transparency, and the effectiveness of project monitoring and controlling processes. The solution offered in this program is training and mentoring on the implementation of a spreadsheet-based PMIS that is practical and easy to adopt. The PMIS is designed to support project scheduling, resource allocation, progress reporting, and structured, data-driven project monitoring. This approach is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce the risk of project delays, and support faster and more accurate decision-making. The program was implemented through observation and interviews to identify partner needs, followed by the introduction of a PMIS dashboard and hands-on training for project management staff at PT Tritech Consult Indonesia. The training session was conducted on January 8, 2026, and received positive responses from participants. The program concluded with the formal handover of the PMIS dashboard as a commitment to the sustainability of system implementation. Overall, this community service activity had a positive impact on improving the effectiveness of the partner’s project management practices and has the potential to be replicated in similar consulting companies. This program is aligned with the Community Service Roadmap of the Enterprise and Industrial Management Systems (EIMS) Knowledge Group, particularly in the Digital Solution System focus area.
2026-03-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Alexander Saputra, Farrel Maisoon Maulana, Salma Agustien, Intan Permatasari, Ika Arum Puspitahttps://journal.uii.ac.id/JAMALI/article/view/46440Penguatan Literasi Bahaya Zat Adiktif melalui Media Infografis pada Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Banjarbaru2026-01-26T07:37:50+00:00Achmad Ramadhanna'il Rasjava[email protected]Ahmad Budi Junaidi[email protected]Abdullah[email protected]Rizki Fitria[email protected]Amalia Fateha Rahmad[email protected]Ni'matul Uzma[email protected]
High school adolescents are a vulnerable group to exposure to addictive substances due to social and academic pressures, thus requiring literacy-based preventive interventions. This community service program aimed to strengthen students’ literacy regarding the hazards of addictive substances at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarbaru through a chemical literacy-based approach, delivered using educational infographics and participatory learning activities. The program was implemented in a single integrated session consisting of a pre-test, delivery of materials using infographic media accompanied by interactive mini quizzes via Quizizz, a question-and-answer session, and a post-test. A total of 36 students participated in the activity, comprising 12 representatives from each grade level (grades X, XI, and XII). Evaluation results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of addictive substances, as indicated by an increase in the average pre-test score of 66.4 (median 70.0 with score ranged from 30.0 to 100.0) to an average post-test score of 87.5 (median 90.0 with score ranged from 60.0 to 100.0), representing an increase of 21.1 points (31.8%). In addition to quantitative evaluation, brief non-formal interviews with students conducted during and after the activity indicated early signs of changes in students perspectives, particularly in their awareness of adopting healthier and non-addictive coping mechanisms when dealing with academic stress. These findings suggest that infographic-based educational approaches combined with interactive activities are effective in enhancing literacy on the hazards of addictive substances as a foundation for primary prevention among adolescents. To support program sustainability, the educational materials were provided to the school in both printed and digital formats for use in guidance and counseling services as well as school health programs.
2026-03-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Achmad Ramadhanna'il Rasjava, Ahmad Budi Junaidi, Abdullah, Rizki Fitria, Amalia Fateha Rahmad, Ni'matul Uzma
