Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy for JEKI Publications (Effective 2025)

Dear Authors,

We would like to inform you that starting in 2025, Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam (JEKI) will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) for the authors. This APC is essential to ensure the journal’s sustainability and continuous improvement in quality, covering costs related to manuscript processing, peer-review management, digital archiving, and open access to a wider academic audience.

The APC details are as follows:

Indonesian authors or collaborations between Indonesian institutions: IDR 2,000,000
Indonesian authors collaborating with at least one foreign-affiliated author: IDR 1,500,000
Authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia: No APC required

This policy was implemented to support the long-term development of JEKI while encouraging international collaboration in Islamic economics and finance research.

JEKI Accreditation Results – Maintained at Sinta 2

Based on the Minutes of Determination of Journal Accreditation Results for Period I of 2025, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology has issued Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025, regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period I of 2025.

We are delighted to announce that JEKI has successfully maintained Sinta 2 accreditation status. This reaccreditation applies from Volume 10, Issue 2 (2024), to Volume 15, and Issue 1 (2029).

However, these articles do not have a confirmed publication date until they are officially assigned to a specific issue on the JEKI website.

Objectives of the Upcoming Issue

Accelerating Access to the Latest Research, Articles that have passed the scientific selection process will be accessible to the academic community, practitioners, and policymakers before being included in the final edition.
Enhancing Research Impact, Early publication allows researchers to receive citations sooner, thereby increasing the visibility and scholarly contribution of their work.
