Abstract
Tulisan ini bermaksud menelaah berbagai macam tantangan milenium ketiga, pengaruhnya terhadap institusi pendidikan psikologi, dan keharusan institusi pendidikan psikologi untuk menyikapinya secara tepat. Menurut penulis, institusi pendidikan psikologi semestinya melakukan pergeseran paradigma, yaitu (a) dari paradigma independensi ke paradigma interdependensi, (b) dari berfokus pada ukuran dan skala besar ke fokus pada kecepatan dan daya reaksi, (c) dari paradigma hirarki ke paradigma kompetensi, (d) dari gaya kepemimpinan otoriter ke gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif, (e) dari sikap reaktif ke sikap proaktif, (f) dari kurikulum pendidikan yang kaku dan terdesentralisasi ke kurikulum pendidikan yang adaptif.
