In the last two years, Indonesia has been ranked 4th in the Asia Pacific in terms of environmental preservation. Therefore, Indonesia must continue to improve the quality of the environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of GRDP, the number of firms, education, and the environmental budget on environmental quality in Indonesia. This study took cases in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2016-2022. The analysis method used is the panel data regression method. The estimation results show that the fixed effect method is the best. The regression results show that the GRDP, education, and environmental budget positively affect IKLH. At the same time, the number of firms does not affect the quality of the environment in Indonesia. The results show that education is dominant in influencing the quality of the environment in Indonesia. The implication is that education needs to be further improved, and education must be expanded to remote areas in Indonesia so that people can preserve and protect the environment.
Aulia Wafa

Mutual funds are a capital market investment instrument that manages investor funds through investment managers. This study was conducted to determine the internal and external factors of individuals that influence decision-making to invest in mutual funds. The data used in this study are primary data processed using data analysis methods, namely Structured Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM) with Smart PLS 3 software. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy, minimum investment capital, investment returns, and subjective norms have a positive influence on mutual fund investment decisions. The better the financial literacy, the cheaper the minimum investment capital, the higher the investment returns, and the higher the subjective norms a person has will increase people's decisions to invest in mutual funds. The implications of this study from the government's side need to improve financial literacy to increase the capacity and quantity of investment in mutual funds. From the mutual fund company's side, it is necessary to take into account returns and provisions such as minimum capital to attract people to invest.
Annis Fadhiilah

https://journal.uii.ac.id/efbr/article/view/38167

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the unemployment rate in ASEAN countries. This study takes a case study in 9 ASEAN countries during the period 2013 to 2019. The analysis tool used is panel data regression with the best model, namely fixed effect. The results of the study show that macroeconomic variables, namely inflation and exchange rates, have a positive effect on the unemployment rate in ASEAN countries. On the other hand, the GDP variable has a negative effect, meaning that the higher the GDP, the lower the unemployment rate. The test results show that the FDI and export variables do not have a significant effect on the unemployment rate. The implication of this study is the importance of controlling macroeconomic variables to overcome unemployment rates in ASEAN countries. The variable that has the greatest impact on unemployment in ASEAN countries is inflation with a coefficient value of 0.0403. The results of this study imply that the government needs to control and maintain conducive macroeconomic variables through accommodative monetary and fiscal policies to reduce the unemployment rate.
Diyah Ari Sukmawati

https://journal.uii.ac.id/efbr/article/view/38228

This study aims to analyze the influence of the tourism sector on community welfare in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. The variables used in this study are the number of tourist attractions, the number of tourists, hotels, and the number of restaurants and eateries as independent variables, and the dependent variable is adjusted per capita expenditure. This study analyzed 5 districts/cities in the province of DIY in the period 2018 - 2023. The analysis method used is the panel data regression method. The test results show that the fixed effect method is the best method for estimating panel data. The results of this study indicate that the number of tourists, the number of hotels, and the number of restaurants and eateries have a positive effect on per capita expenditure while the number of tourist destinations does not affect per capita expenditure. The implication of this finding is the need for each local government to embarrass creative innovation in managing hotels, restaurants, and eateries to make Yogyakarta the main destination for tourists in Indonesia.
Muhammad Emran Hakami
