Abstract
Penelitian ini mengekplorasi peran kegiatan mahasiswa dalam menarik minat calon mahasiswa baru di perguruan tinggi, yang fokus di Fakultas Ilmu Agama Islam Universitas Islam Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami persepsi dan harapan calon mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan mahasiswa serta dampaknya terhadap pilihan perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner dan formulir daring. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan mahasiswa dianggap penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas mahasiswa, sementara minat calon mahasiswa baru memungkinkan dipengaruhi oleh variasi kegiatan dan keterlibatannya dalam organisasi mahasiswa. Terobosan penting dalam penelitian adalah peningkatan promosi dan kualitas kegiatan mahasiswa di FIAI , untuk menarik minat calon mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif bagi institusi pendidikan dan kebutuhan akan adaptasi terhadap perubahan tren pendidikan.
