Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep pendidikan Islam menurut Buya Hamka dan relevansinya terhadap problematika pendidikan modern di Indonesia. Di tengah arus globalisasi yang materialistik, dunia pendidikan sering kali terjebak dalam dikotomi antara sains dan agama yang mengakibatkan degradasi moral dan maraknya kasus perundungan di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, penelitian ini menyintesis pemikiran Hamka mengenai integrasi tauhid, kemerdekaan jiwa, dan pembentukan Pribadi Hebat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan Hamka menawarkan model integratif yang memosisikan akal sebagai instrumen penemuan dan tauhid sebagai kompas moral. Hasil studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa relevansi pemikiran Hamka terletak pada reposisi peran guru sebagai Murabbi dan transformasi kurikulum berbasis integritas spiritual. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan Islam integratif yang mendamaikan ketegangan antara rasionalitas modern dan spiritualitas tradisional.
