Abstract

The act no.18 year 2003 gives the strategic position and the existence of Shari’ah Lawyer in Indonesia. This regulation challenges Shari’ah departments in Indonesia and their graduations to prepare the particular curriculum. Besides, this profession needs improving the quality of the graduation of Shari’ah who will become the lawyer. For that reason, Shari’ah lawyer needs knowledge, legal skill, office management, character, and capability because of client-lawyer relationship including lawyer as hired gun, lawyer as master of ship and cooperative model.
