Abstract
This research target is to know the development of mosque based BMT Al-Azka in Pagerharjo Samigaluh. The Question is how is the development conducted ? BMT is needed as financial institution of people self-supporting because its difficult for them to access the Bank. The target of Islamic law is economic protection (hifdhul maal). It is related to the mosque function pay attention to prosperity problem, physically or psycally. To carry out its function, Takmir Forum must overcome the jamaah’s problem. The case study expected to express the esence of problem. This study shows mosque based BMT Al-Azka is founded by Takmir. This BMT developed and based on mosque value and organized by Tamir, The membership of BMT consist of the institute Takmir and mosque jamaah. The recommendation of this study is that organizers and members are expected to develop mosque based BMT Al-Azka in order to become a proud institution. For other mosque Takmir are also expexted to develop mosque based BMT in their region.
