Journal of Applied Statistics and Artificial Intelligence (JASAI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal established in 2026 by the Master’s Program in Statistics (Program Studi Statistika Program Magister – PSSPM), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Islam Indonesia.

The journal provides a dedicated platform for the publication of original research articles, literature reviews, and scientific studies in the fields of theoretical statistics, applied statistics, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analysis, and other related disciplines that contribute to the development of science and technology in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

JASAI welcomes submissions from lecturers, students, researchers, and practitioners in statistics and artificial intelligence. Its main objectives are to:

  1. Serve as a reputable scientific publication venue for the academic community of Universitas Islam Indonesia and the broader scholarly community.
  2. Enhance the productivity and quality of scientific publications by the university’s academic staff and students.
  3. Support the achievement of higher education performance indicators, particularly in research output, publication metrics, and academic reputation.
  4. Strengthen the position of the Master’s Program in Statistics as a center of excellence for the development of statistics and artificial intelligence knowledge that is relevant to societal and industrial needs.
  5. Contribute to self-generated income initiatives for the program while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and open-access dissemination.

The journal is committed to rigorous double-blind peer review, adherence to ethical publishing standards (COPE), and immediate open access to maximize the visibility and impact of published research.
