Abstract
The failure of state in roling its social responsibility causes many varying social injustices and cruelties either on the level of society or of state. These injustices are manivestated in many kinds of injustices, like in economic field, laboury, environment disaster, human rights restraints, societie’s land robbery, etc. These varying restraints and injustices do run systematically. The inability of state in solving these social problems –even the state frequently become the actor,besides the power of capital- encourages the birth of conscious, organized, and programatic social movement, to realize social justice. This is what in social movement theory is so called advocation. Advocation movement takes varying forms and generally focus on one issue such as human rights, labour, environment, etc. The basic of these advocation movement is justice values. Islam has basic of justice values as well as long of its advocation tradition. The affair of mosque building by governor of Mesir in Umar ibn Khattab era, the affair of Ibn Aiham, the affair of Bilal ibn Rabbah, evidently show “these advocation movement”. By reflexing in history and varying spirit of Islamic principles that stress in justice and keeping of human rights, the idea and advocation movement have strong teological basic in Islam. But, advocation in islam has special limits. Islam forbids having advocation for struggling something in which the substance is forbidden by islam, such as advocation for ratification of one-sex marriage, etc.
