Latar belakang : Daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis F) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat karena memiliki senyawa metabolit sekunder salah satunya adalah flavonoid. Flavonoid merupakan senyawa yang berkhasiat sebagai antioksidan, senyawa ini diperlukan oleh kulit untuk mencegah dan mengurangi efek radikal bebas pada kulit. Masker Peel Off adalah sediaan yang dioleskan pada kulit wajah dan terbentuk lapisan film yang tipis dan elastis.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat formulasi sediaan masker peel-off yang mengandung ekstrak etanol daun sukun.
Metode : Proses ekstraksi dilakukan setelah terlebih dahulu mengetahui konsentrasi pelarut etanol yang mampu menarik flavonoid dalam jumlah yang lebih banyak. Formulasi sediaan masker peel off menggunakan konsentrasi 10% (FI), 20 % (FII) dan 40 % ( FIII). Penentuan aktivitas antioksidan sediaan masker dilakukan dengan metode peredaman radikal DPPH.
Hasil : Hasil uji antioksidan menunjukan bahwa formula III memiliki aktivitas antioksidan paling besar yaitu 131,7742 µg/mL, diikuti dengan formula II sebesar 183,6459 µg/mL, dan formula I sebesar 274,9315 µg/mL.
Kesimpulan : Formulasi masker peel-off dari ekstrak etanol daun sukun telah berhasil dikembangkan dan aktivitas antioksidan pada sediaan masih tinggi.

Peel-off mask from the ethanolic extract of breadfruit leaves (Artocarpus altilis F): formulationand antioxidant activity test using DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assayAbstract
Background: The leaves of breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis F) contain a number of secondary metabolites, including flavonoids. Flavonoids have an antioxidant property, which can protect skin from free radicals. Peel-off mask is a preparation applied to the face that forms a thin, elastic film.
Objective: This study aimed to formulate peel-off mask from the ethanolic extract of breadfruit leaves and to investigate the antioxidant activity.
Methods: The extraction process was carried out after determining the concentration of ethanol solvent that could attract more flavonoids. Three formulations of peel-off mask were prepared with a variation of ethanolic extract concentration of 10% (FI), 20% (FII), and 40% (FIII). Determination of the antioxidant activity of mask preparations was conducted using the DPPH radical reduction method.
Results: The antioxidant test showed that the formula with the greatest antioxidant activity of 131.7742 µg/mL was Formula III followed by Formula II with 183.6459 µg/mL, and formula I with 274.9315 µg/mL.
Conclusion: The formulation of peel-off mask from the ethanolic extract of breadfruit leaves has been successfully developed, and the antioxidant activity remained high in the preparation.
