Abstract
Permasalan sosial terutama kemiskinan seakan menjadi pekerjaan rumah tangga yang
sulit untuk diselesaikan, berbagai kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah yang
mencoba menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial seakan tidak memberikan dampak yang
signifikan. Salah satu terobosan luar biasa dalam uisaha menyelesaikan permasalahan
sosial adalah social enterprise atau kewirausahaan sosial, social enterprise merupakan
sebuah bentuk usaha yang menargetkan penyelesaian permasalahan sosial dari pada
mencoba mengumpulkan keuntungan. Tetapi selayaknya usaha pada umumnya social
enterprise memiliki potensi kegagalan dalam kegiatan nya yang disebabkan oleh
kegagalan manajerial dan kegagalan finansial, dalah satu cara untuk menghindari
kegagalan usaha adalah dengan kebijakan ekonomi proteksi, ekonomi proteksi
merupakan sebuah kebijakan untuk menjaga sebuahb usaha dari persaingan dan juga
kegagalan finansial maupun manajerial dan juga meningkatkan produk dan perdagangan
suatu usaha. Penerlitian ini menggunakan metode literature review yaitu menelaah
penelitian-penelitian yang ada untuk menemukan konsep masing-masing variable dan
mengkajinya sehingga menciptakan konsep baru. Tujuan dan manfaat dari penelitian ini
adalah untuk memberikan referensi baru kepada pihak terkait dalam penerapan social
enterprise.
