Abstract

Buku sebagai salah satu sumber ilmu pengetahuan memiliki jumlah permintaan yang besar di kalangan masyarakat dan seakan sudah menjadi kebutuhan. Namun begitu, harga buku di Indonesia masih cenderung mahal, sehingga menyulitkan beberapa golongan masyarakat (misalnya masyarakat menengah ke bawah) untuk membeli bukubuku baru. Berangkat dari akar masalah ini, penulis mulai mengembangkan ide berupa wadah online yang mempertemukan orang-orang yang mampu membeli buku namun sudah tidak memanfaatkannya lagi dengan mereka yang membutuhkan namun memiliki budget terbatas, yaitu bernama BuKuy!. Ide ini dikembangkan berdasarkan pada hasil observasi dan wawancara langsung serta survei online. Hasil dari observasi, wawancara, dan survei online ini penulis nilai sebagai hasil yang positif dan menjadi dasar perencanaan dan pengembangan BuKuy! ke depannya.
