Abstract
Inovasi teknologi pengelolaan lahan kering masam telah banyak diciptakan. Diantaranya
yaitu teknologi pengayaan unsur P dan K, teknik pemberian kapur untuk mengatasi
kemasaman tanah dan keracunan aluminium, teknologi konservasi tanah berupa sistem
olah tanah konservasi, pemanfaatan mulsa dan konservasi secara vegetatif. Inovasi
teknologi yang diciptakan perlu disosialisasikan kepada petani milenial sebagai target
audience Kementerian Pertanian. Sosialisasi tersebut akan sulit dilakukan jika hanya
mengandalkan penyuluhan secara langsung di lapangan apalagi jika adanya pembatasan
aktivitas dan dilakukan kepada petani milenial yang tergolong early adopter dalam
perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian terapan ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan motion
graphic dalam e-book “Peningkatan Produktivitas Lahan Kering Masam” sebagai media
informasi yang menarik dan melibatkan multimedia (penggunaan teks, visual berupa video
dan audio) mengenai teknologi pengelolaan lahan kering masam. Terdapat tiga tahapan
pada pembuatan motion graphic yang berjudul "Peningkatan Produktivitas Lahan Kering
Masam" antara lain preparation, production, dan post production. Motion graphic tersebut
berisi informasi mengenai penjelasan, sifat, penyebaran, serta inovasi lahan kering masam
dan pemanfaatan teknik ICLM. Penelitian ini berkolaborasi dengan Balai Besar Pengkajian
dan Pengembangan Teknologi Pertanian (BBP2TP) dan telah digunakan oleh penyuluh
Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian (BPTP) di Kalimantan Timur.
