Abstract
Perpustakaan pusat Universitas Islam Indonesia memiliki program ruang yang tertata sangat baik sesuai dengan fungsinya. Mulai dari ruang baca yang nyaman, diskusi, internet, literature, kumpul, hingga space situs candi kimpulan untuk berwisata sejarah. Hal-hal inilah yang menjadi daya tarik mahasiswa untuk selalu beraktifitas dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan pusat secara maksimal. Dan salah satu factor yang berhasil menciptakan suasana ruang yang nyaman di perpustakaan ini adalah faktor akustik/ audial. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini akan membahas tentang pengaruh akustik ruang di lantai UG yang mana memiliki parameter ruang yang tepat untuk dijadikan bahan evaluasi. Karena lantai UG perpustakaan pusat universitas islam Indonesia menjadi salah satu lantai terpavorit yang sering dikunjungi dan dimanfaatkan ruangnya oleh mahasiswa. Tahapan evaluasi akustik dalam penelitian ini di bagi menjadi 3 tahap perhitungan matematis dan empiris, mulai dari perhitungan koefisien penyerapan suara dari dalam dan luar bangunan, kedua perhitungan waktu dengung (reverberation time ), ketiga perhitungan isolasi frekuensi suara (Transmission Loss) dalam ruang. Selain dengan metode perhitungan matematis, penelitian ini akan di kuatkan dengan metode kuesioner yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa indeks persepsi mahasiswa akan sensasi akustik dan pemanfaatan ruang di lantai UG perpustakaan. Dan tahap terakhir dengan metode arsitektural untuk menganalisa dampak lingkungan terhadap sensasi akustik. Karya tulis ilmiah ini merupakan penelitian awal dalam rangka mengevaluasi akustik ruang di lantai UG Universitas Islam Indonesia, dimana di peroleh hasil bahwa evaluasi akustik memberikan pengaruh besar dalam meningkatkan intensitas pengunjung dan pemanfaatan ruang untuk beraktifitas secara maksimal bagi mahasiswa .
