Abstract
Ada banyak tantangan bagi perusahaan fintech untuk masuk ke UKM. Edukasi harus terus diberikan karena tidak banyak UKM di negara berkembang yang memahami perkembangan Fintech. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana praktik layanan pembayaran pada usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) di Malioboro, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method yaitu kombinasi metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap 10 UKM yang telah menggunakan fintech dalam transaksi pembayaran, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan hasil penyebaran kuosioner terhadap 180 pelaku UKM di Malioboro. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak keluhan dari pengguna pembayaran seluler. Dari 10 UKM 3 diantaranya sudah terbiasa menggunakan metode transaksi digital sedangkat 7 UKM lainnya masih mengeluhkan beberapa permasalahan. Mereka mengklaim bahwa pembayaran mobile belum terlalu membantu dalam proses pembayaran karena proses pembayaran memiliki tahap yang rumit. Disisi lain analisis kuantitatif memberikan solusi dengan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa untuk mendorong UKM dalam penggunaan fintech pemerintah ataupun perusahaan penyedia fintech perlu memperhatikan Perceived usefulness (Tingkat Kegunaan), perceived ease of use (Tingkat Kemudahan), perceived risk (Tingkat Resiko) dan perceived of cost (Tingkat Biaya) karena 4 variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan inovasi teknologi online di UKM.
