Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan merepresentasikan kepemimpinan kepala Perpustakaan UMY sebagai agen perubahan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang didasarkan pada interpretasi fakta dan data yang terjadi secara natural. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada empat informan, yakni; kepala perpustakaan dan staf Perpustakaan UMY. Pengumpulan data dilakukan antara bulan April sampai Juni 2022. Proses analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan fenomena representasi kepemimpinan transformatif kepala Perpustakaan UMY dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai agen perubahan di masa krisis Covid-19, yakni; kepala perpustakaan yang berjiwa kompetitif dan egaliter, mampu membangun budaya yang lebih kuat, perpustakaan sebagai media untuk menguatkan ideologi Muhammadiyah (melalui; laku diri, koleksi AIK), mengedepankan komunikasi profetik dalam mengkritik praktik yang tidak adil, collaborating & co-creation. Dari penelitian ini representasi kepemimpinan transfomatif-kolaboratif kepala Perpustakaan UMY mampu membawa perubahan masa Covid-19 mendisrupsi.
