The Indonesian Journal of Chemical Research (IJCR) is an electronic journal that publishes recent studies in chemistry fields. The types of articles published in this journal include research articles, review articles and short communication. This journal covers some topics, including:

Peer Review Process

IJCR is an electronic journal published by the Department of Chemistry, Indonesian Islamic University. All manuscripts submitted to this journal (Indonesian Journal of Chemical Research) must follow this journal's Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines.

The submitted manuscripts must be original work, never been published in other journals and not being assessed/considered in other journals. In addition, the manuscripts must contain novelty appropriate to the focus and scope of this journal. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in good English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their papers checked before submission for grammar and clarity. International Science Editing and Asia Science Editing can provide English language and copyediting services. The work must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors suggest using plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking (please use Turnitin or iThenticate to check the similarity). Editors will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal by using Turnitin or iThenticate software.
The submitted manuscripts to this journal will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers from Peer-reviewers Team. The reviewers give valuable scientific comments improving the contents of the manuscript. Sometimes (if required), a third peer-reviewer is needed to give critical comments to the submitted manuscript. The review process used in this journal is a blind review system.
Editor solely makes the final decision of manuscript acceptance in Chief/Regional (Handling) Editor (together with Editorial Board if required) according to reviewers' critical comments. The final decision of the manuscript is solely based on the Editor's final review, which considers peer-reviewers comments (but not solely by the Reviewer).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange. All articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication, and Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium are permitted.

The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs) or submission charges.

All the articles published in IJCR (Indonesian Journal of Chemical Research) are open access and free to access immediately after publication. The open access publication could be possible through the article-processing charges (APCs) or Manuscript submission fee paid by the authors upon acceptance of the manuscripts. Manuscript submission fees are associated with only accepted articles to cover the costs of making the final version of the manuscript freely available via open access.

Author(s) are charged IDR 200.007,- for Indonesian author(s) or 15 US$ for foreign author(s) for each article accepted for publication via Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Account 7186955654 (Dedy Sugiarto).

The article processing fee shall be paid upon manuscript submission; however, the payment does not guarantee the acceptance of the manuscript. The manuscript will be sent to reviewers for rigorous checking. In case the manuscript is rejected, the fee will be refunded.
