Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntun kreativitas pemuda dalam mengadakan
kegiatan sosial saat ini. salah satunya melalui komunitas fanbase dalam menggalang dana
untuk kegiatan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sebuah pendekatan baru
dalam pergerakan sosial yang baru-baru ini dilakukan oleh beberapa fanbase di Indonesia.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian studi kasus dengan mengacu pada
beberapa literatur review. Selain itu, dilakukan survey kepada beberapa responden secara
online mengenai fenomena fanbase dan penggalangan dana melalui komunitas fanbase,
pada penelitian ini berfokus pada komunitas kpopers. Survey ini dilakukan untuk
mendukung teori yang telah didapat pada literatur review. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan
menunjukkan bahwa 70% dari kpopers melakukan aksi galang dana untuk membantu
korban bencana. peran sosial media yang menyebarkan informasi ini pada kalangan
fanbase berperan sangat penting. Hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa 80% dari donatur responden
mendapatkan informasi penggalangan dana dari sosial media. Sehingga dari penelitian ini
dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kpopers sebagai sebuah kelompok pemuda dapat menjadi
sarana yang efektif untuk melakukan aksi sosial dan mendukung terwujudnya SDGs .
