Abstract

Menata buku merupakan pekerjaan yang monoton bagi pustakawan. Blockchain menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam menjalankan otomatisasi peminjaman mandiri. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengobservasi studi pendahulu yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan blockchain pada perpustakaan. Studi ini menggunakan metode bibliometrik untuk menganalisis data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dari Scopus. Terdapat sekitar 87 paper melalui pencarian dengan kata kunci (TITLE-ABS-KEY(“library”) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY(“service”) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY(“blockchain”)). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selain kata “blockchain” dan “library” sebagai topik, kata lain seperti “conference,” “smart,” “technology,” “data,” serta “engineering” juga sering digunakan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa blockchain dapat digunakan sebagai langkah awal untuk menciptakan smart library. Selain itu, “conference” juga menjadi kata yang sering digunakan sebagai bagian judul pada karya-karya ilmiah sampel studi ini.
