Abstract

Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia kurang peka terhadap kelestarian lingkungan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya penghijauan serta dampak berbahaya polusi dan limbah terhadap kesehatan masyarakat. Literasi lingkungan penting untuk membina generasi yang sadar, peduli, dan mampu mengatasi masalah lingkungan. Pustakawan dapat menyelenggarakan lokakarya dan seminar yang berfokus pada isu lingkungan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengobservasi langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan oleh pustakawan untuk berkolaborasi dengan pihak akademik ataupun guru guna berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian lingkungan. Studi ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa metadata 472 dokumen dari Scopus. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode bibliometrik dan systematic literature review (SLR). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan tidak hanya terdiri dari perpustakaan universitas umum yang dapat berkolaborasi dengan para akademisinya, tetapi juga perpustakaan universitas Islam. Perpustakaan universitas Islam mengedepankan unsur syariat dalam metode pengembangan literasi kesadaran lingkungan, sedangkan universitas umum tidak. Sekolah juga memiliki perpustakaan, dan pihak guru serta pustakawan dapat berkolaborasi dalam program peningkatan literasi kesadaran lingkungan bagi siswa. Perpustakaan perlu memiliki SDM yang berasal dari bidang lingkungan atau lulusan pendidikan formal di bidang lingkungan.
