Peer Review Process
The corresponding author submits the manuscript through the journal’s online system.
The Editor-in-Chief initially evaluates the manuscript to ensure its quality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and to detect any potential issues such as authorship errors or plagiarism.
If the manuscript meets the journal’s basic requirements, it is assigned to at least two reviewers for evaluation. The journal applies a blind peer-review policy, meaning that the author does not know the identity of the reviewers.
Each reviewer assesses the manuscript through the online system and provides detailed comments along with a clear recommendation regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.
In the case of minor revisions, the manuscript and reviewers’ comments are returned to the author. The author is expected to revise the manuscript accordingly and resubmit the revised version.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
On average, the overall process from submission to publication takes approximately 8 weeks.
