We are pleased to announce that starting in 2025, JEKI will introduce an Upcoming Issue as part of our commitment to accelerate the dissemination of high-quality research in Islamic economics and finance.

What is the Upcoming Issue?

An Upcoming Issue is the collection of articles that have undergone the review process in accordance with JEKI's standards and policies and have been accepted for publication in a future edition. However, these articles do not have a confirmed publication date until they are officially assigned to a specific issue on the JEKI website.

Objectives of the Upcoming Issue

• Accelerating Access to the Latest Research, Articles that have passed the scientific selection process will be accessible to the academic community, practitioners, and policymakers before being included in the final edition.
• Enhancing Research Impact, Early publication allows researchers to receive citations sooner, thereby increasing the visibility and scholarly contribution of their work.
• Supporting a More Efficient Publication Process, The  Upcoming Issue ensures a more structured and efficient distribution of articles, thereby reducing waiting times for both authors and readers.
