Author Guidelines

Kindly be aware that sending a manuscript to this Journal Officium Notarium confirms that you are the author or sender and that the Journal may keep your email address in order to stay in contact with you regarding the submitted article.

Make sure your personal information is clearly stated in the submission form. Following the approval for publication, the information will appear on the page.

Guidelines for Articles

  1. The Officium Notarium Journal welcomes article submissions concerning notary and civil law through normative, empirical, and comparative studies.
  2. The manuscript has never been published in other published media; it was typed on quarto paper with double spacing, 10-15 pages long, and submitted in manuscript form using the MS Word word processor (in doc or docx format), font size 12, and Times New Roman.
  3. Articles are written in Indonesian or foreign languages in accordance with standards for acceptable and proper use of Indonesian or foreign languages.
  4. Articles published in this journal include research-based writings on law.
  5. The written research, thesis, or dissertation findings are presented in the following order:
    • Title
    • Author's name (no title)
    • Name of the institution or institution, complete address, telephone number, and e-mail (correspondence author)
    • Abstract, in one paragraph and single space, includes a summary of the problem formulation, research methods, and analysis results (50-100 words). 
    • Keywords, a maximum of five (five) words, are written in two spaces after the abstract (in Indonesian and English) and printed in italics. 
    • Introduction, written efficiently and containing the background and formulation of the problem as well as the objectives of the research
    • Research methods
    • Research results and discussions
    • Conclusions and suggestions
    • Bibliography.
  6. Each quotation has to present the full citation as well as a footnote system, e.g.:

           Satjipto Rahardjo, Law and Social Change, Bandung, Alumni, 1979, p. 26.

           Suparman Marzuki, Article in Law Journal, No. 1, Vol. 1, January 18, 2011, p. 35.
