4th ISCE 2021

Virtual Conference, 15 September 2021

In continuation of the past successful biannual ISCE conference series, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Islam Indonesia warmly welcomes you to International Seminar on Chemical Education (ISCE) 2021 that will be held on September 15 2021 in Indonesia with the theme of

“Chemistry Resilience and Continuity in the Covid-19 Pandemic”

As of 13 April 2020, schools and universities have been closed in most countries around the world in an attempt to limit the spread of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Nationwide closures have been mandated in 192 countries, interrupting learning for close and prompting almost all education systems to deploy distance learning solutions during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The conference is aimed to disseminate the results of researcher, experts, and practitioner from universities, research centers, and government boards and bring the latest education advances in chemical learning strategies during the Covid-19 Pandemic. From its first launch in 2015, the conference continues to provide excellent means for researchers and practitioners, to exchange emerging ideas and investigate key issues about chemistry education curriculum and policy, teacher learning and education (in-service and pre-service teachers), Environmental and social issues in chemistry, assessment and evaluation, independence learning, skill oriented and instructional learning in 21st century, classroom action research in sciences, environmental chemistry and its aspects, renewable and sustainable energy, materials and advance materials, green chemistry, chemical engineering, and chemical process.

Due to growing concerns about COVID-19 crisis, the ISCE committee comes up with an approach to arrange it in virtual format. Prominent Keynote and Invited Speakers will share their speeches in plenary and parallel sessions. Your participations at ISCE 2021 will be a worthwhile experience.
