Abstract

Transformasi digital yang melanda berbagai sektor kehidupan juga memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pengelolaan dan layanan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Perpustakaan yang sebelumnya berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpanan koleksi kini mengalami evolusi dari pengelolaan pustaka menjadi ekosistem pengetahuan yang didukung dengan Artificial Intelligence (AI). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian tentang teknologi AI yang dapat dimanfaatkan di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam merespon peran pustakawan di era digital. Melalui berbagai analisis hasil studi literatur dari berbagai sumber mutakhir, yang dilakukan penelusuran secara online dari berbagai database menunjukkan bahwa integrasi platform berbasis AI seperti Research Rabbit, SciSpace, Scite, NotebookLM, dan Jenni AI telah memperkuat fungsi perpustakaan sebagai pusat kolaborasi, pembelajaran, dan inovasi ilmiah. Peran pustakawan mengalami transformasi dari pengelola pustaka berubah sebagai kurator digital, fasilitator literasi informasi, dan mitra riset bagi sivitas akademika. Hasil penelusuran data sekunder  tentang tranformasi perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dan peran pustakawan di era artificial intelligence (AI) tahun 2018-2024 ini menunjukan bahwa teknologi informasi dapat dimanfaatkan secara efisien dan efektif oleh pustakawan dalam melakukaan pengelolaan pengetahuan dapat dilakukan.
