Peer Review Process
Editorial and Peer Review Process:
Initial Screening: Each manuscript submitted to JIPRO is first evaluated by the Managing Editor to determine whether it aligns with the publication's focus, scope, and template. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are immediately rejected.
Plagiarism Assessment: Once a manuscript meets the initial criteria, it undergoes a plagiarism check using Turnitin to ensure originality and prevent duplicate publication.
Peer Review: Manuscripts that passed the initial screening and plagiarism check are forwarded to an expert in the field for peer review.
First Decision: Decisions are made after receiving reviews from both reviewers. In cases of conflicting reviews, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. The authors are then notified whether their manuscript is accepted without changes, accepted with minor or major revisions, or rejected.
Revision Phase: If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the author(s) for modifications with a two-week deadline for resubmission.
Final Decision and Editing: The accepted manuscripts are subjected to final editing, copyediting and production.
Article Withdrawal: To prevent resource waste, article withdrawal is discouraged during and post-peer review. A withdrawal fee of compensation is applicable to cover editorial expenses.
