Call for Papers Review of Islamic Social Finance and Entrepreneurship (RISFE)

We are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the Review of Islamic Social Finance and Entrepreneurship (RISFE), and we invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit their manuscripts.

Scope of RISFE:

Islamic social finance and entrepreneurship is defined as sectors that have dimensions of social mission within an organization. This includes traditional Islamic philanthropic institutions—zakat, shadaqah, and waqf–as well as non-profit organizations such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It also covers contemporary Islamic microfinance institutions and other Islamic social enterprises. Social entrepreneurship focuses on recognizing social problems and achieving social change by employing entrepreneurial principles, processes, and operations.
