  • Author Guidelines

Emerging Statistics and Data Science (ESDS) Journal receives scientific articles on various aspects related to the field of statistics. Articles can be in the form of research, case studies, and literature reviews. The language used is Bahasa.

Articles can be accepted for publication on the condition that they are only intended for ESDS journals. The lead author made a statement that the article had never been published or sent for publication in another journal. The publisher has the right to copy-right all material published and the material cannot be reproduced in any form, without the publisher's permission. The contents of the article are the responsibility of the author. All articles submitted will be subject to a review process.

  • Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Artikel ini tidak pernah di publish di jurnal lain atau tidak sementara dalam penilaian di jurnal lain.
    The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. File naskah harus berupa WordPerfect, OpenOffice, RTF, atau miscrosfot word (docx atau doc) format.
    The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Jika tersedia, URL/bibtex untuk daftar pustaka telah disediakan.
    Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. Teksnya satu spasi, menggunakan TNR 11 untuk bagian isi, huruf miring untuk istilah asing, serta semua ilustrasi, gambar dan tabel diletakkan dengan teks ditempatkan ditempat yang sesuai.
    The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. Teks mematuhi persyaratan gaya dan bibliografi yang diuraikan dalam Author Guidelines, yang dapat ditemukan di About Jurnal.
    The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  1. Pastikan pengaturan Blind Review pada naskah diizinkan.

If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

  • Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR) and Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee or Article Publication.

  • Copyright Notice

The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright of the article shall be assigned to ESDS journal and Department of Statistics, Universitas Islam Indonesia as the publisher of the journal. Copyright encompasses the rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all form and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms, and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations. ESDS journal and Department of Statistics, Universitas Diponegoro, and the Editors make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions, or statements be published in the journal. In any way, the contents of the articles and advertisements published in ESDS journal are the sole and exclusive responsibility of their respective authors and advertisers.

The use of articles will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC) (dikasih link ke CCA).

  1. Author(s)' Warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, written by the stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author, and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).

  1. User Rights

ESDS spirit is to disseminate articles published are as free as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, ESDS permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work. Users will also need to attribute authors and ESDS to distributing works in the journal and other media of publications.

  1. Rights of Authors

Authors retain all their rights to the published works, such as (but not limited to) the following rights;

  • Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
  • The right to use the substance of the article in own future works, including lectures and books,
  • The right to reproduce the article for own purposes,
  • The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article's published version (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal (ESDS journal).
  1. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. ESDS will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. ESDS will only communicate with the corresponding author.

  1. Royalties

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that ESDS entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.

Name and email address that is shown in the journal web and used exclusively only for article publishing, not for other uses.
