Author Guidelines
- Author Guidelines
Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal receives scientific articles on various aspects related to the field of statistics. Articles can be in the form of research, case studies, and literature reviews. The language used is Bahasa Indonesia.
Articles can be accepted for publication on the condition that they are only intended for Emerging Statistics and Data Science journals. The lead author made a statement that the article had never been published or sent for publication in another journal. The publisher has the right to copyright all material published, and the material cannot be reproduced in any form without the publisher's permission. The contents of the article are the responsibility of the author. All articles submitted will be subject to a review process.

- Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- This article has not been previously published in another journal and is not currently under review elsewhere.
- The submission has not been published previously, nor is it under consideration by another journal (unless an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file must be in one of the following formats: WordPerfect, OpenOffice, RTF, or Microsoft Word (docx or doc).
- Where applicable, URLs for the references have been included.
- The text is single-spaced, uses an 11-point Times New Roman font for the body, employs italics for foreign terms (instead of underlining, except for URL addresses), and places all illustrations, figures, and tables within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic (the style is IEEE) requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in the About the Journal section.
- Finally, please ensure that the Blind Review setting on the manuscript is enabled.
- Copyright Notice
The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright of the article shall be assigned to Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal and Department of Statistics, Universitas Islam Indonesia as the publisher of the journal. Copyright encompasses the rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all form and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms, and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations. Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal and Department of Statistics, Universitas Islam Indonesia, and the Editors make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions, or statements be published in the journal. In any way, the contents of the articles and advertisements published in Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal are the sole and exclusive responsibility of their respective authors and advertisers.

The use of articles will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC).
- Author(s)' Warranties
The author warrants that the article is original, written by the stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author, and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).
- User Rights
The Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal is committed to the broad dissemination of articles. Under the Creative Commons license, the journal allows users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the published works. However, users are required to attribute both the authors and the ESDS when distributing works from the journal or using them in other publications.
- Rights of Authors
Authors retain all their rights to the published works, such as (but not limited to) the following rights;
- Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
- The right to use the substance of the article in own future works, including lectures and books,
- The right to reproduce the article for own purposes,
- The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article's published version (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal (ESDS journal).
- Co-Authorship
If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. ESDS will only communicate with the corresponding author.
- Royalties
Being an open-access journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, the author(s) are aware that Emerging Statistics and Data Science Journal entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.
- Privacy Statement
Name and email address that are shown in the journal web and used exclusively only for article publishing, not for other uses.
- Author Fees
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR) and Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee or Article Publication.
