Abstract
CV. Bina Syifa Mandiri merupakan salah satu usaha kecil obat tradisional yang sedang berkembang sejak tahun 2005. Aspek bahan baku atau simplisia menjadi bagian penting bagi CV. Bina Syifa Mandiri untuk menjamin dihasilkannya produk yang bermutu dan berkualitas. Salah satu bahan baku yang digunakan adalah simplisia rimpang temulawak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi cara mencegah pemasokan bahan baku simplisia temulawak palsu untuk meningkatkan kualitas obat herbal di CV. Bina Syifa Mandiri. Metode penulisan artikel ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sumber data sekunder, wawancara dan pengamatan langsung. Pencegahan pemalsuan bahan baku herbal di CV. Bina Syifa Mandiri dapat dilakukan dengan cara: pelatihan personalia, penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur, protokol standar dan dokumen untuk penerimaan bahan baku simplisia rimpang temulawak, penggunaan label untuk penandaan status bahan baku dan pemenuhan ketersediaan instrumen untuk melakukan spesifikasi simplisia rimpang temulawak.
