ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab is a scholarly journal published twice a year by the Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). This journal focuses on epistemological studies of knowledge as an effort to construct a concept of integration between science and Islamic values. With a vision to become an innovative and creative academic platform in exploring Islamic epistemology, ABHATS aims to promote the integration of science and Islamic values, explore epistemological reasoning in scientific development, enhance academic understanding and foster a culture of knowledge, and strengthen methodological development grounded in Islamic principles. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in Islamic epistemology, knowledge integration, and the reconstruction of contemporary scientific paradigms.

Ownership and Management

ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab is owned and managed by the Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).

All publishing activities, including editorial processes, peer review management, and online publication, are conducted under the responsibility of the Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, UII, with support from relevant academic units within the university.

This journal reflects UII’s commitment to advancing Islamic scholarship, strengthening the academic tradition of pesantren, and promoting the integration of knowledge grounded in Islamic values.
