Publication Ethics
ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The publication ethics policy aims to ensure that the publication process is conducted professionally, transparently, and free from unethical practices.
Editors’ Responsibilities: Editors are responsible for making final publication decisions based on the academic merit of the manuscripts. They must maintain the confidentiality of both authors and reviewers, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure that the review process is fair and objective.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities: Reviewers assist the editors in evaluating the scientific quality of manuscripts. They should provide objective, constructive feedback, maintain the confidentiality of the review process, and must not use any information obtained during review for personal advantage.
Authors’ Responsibilities: Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under review by other journals. Authors should provide accurate citations, avoid plagiarism, and properly acknowledge the contributions of others to their research.
Publisher’s Responsibilities: The Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) as the publisher ensures that all publication stages follow academic ethical standards and maintain the scientific integrity of the journal.
