About Journal

ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab is a scholarly journal published twice a year by the Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). This journal focuses on epistemological studies of knowledge as an effort to construct a concept of integration between science and Islamic values. With a vision to become an innovative and creative academic platform in exploring Islamic epistemology, ABHATS aims to promote the integration of science and Islamic values, explore epistemological reasoning in scientific development, enhance academic understanding and foster a culture of knowledge, and strengthen methodological development grounded in Islamic principles. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in Islamic epistemology, knowledge integration, and the reconstruction of contemporary scientific paradigms.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab applies a transparent article processing charge (APC) policy to support the sustainability of journal management, editorial processes, and digital publishing maintenance.

Publication fee: IDR 500,000 per accepted manuscript.

This fee applies to all manuscripts accepted for publication. However, in special cases—such as manuscripts of exceptional academic quality, significant contribution to Islamic scientific development, or submissions under strategic academic collaboration—the Editorial Board may consider partial or full fee waivers.

All publication charges are clearly communicated to authors before the publication process proceeds.
