About Journal

ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab is a scholarly journal published twice a year by the Directorate of Islamic Boarding Schools, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). This journal focuses on epistemological studies of knowledge as an effort to construct a concept of integration between science and Islamic values. With a vision to become an innovative and creative academic platform in exploring Islamic epistemology, ABHATS aims to promote the integration of science and Islamic values, explore epistemological reasoning in scientific development, enhance academic understanding and foster a culture of knowledge, and strengthen methodological development grounded in Islamic principles. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in Islamic epistemology, knowledge integration, and the reconstruction of contemporary scientific paradigms.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism Policy

ABHATS: Jurnal Islam Ulil Albab enforces a zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate prior to the peer-review process.

The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright by the editorial team. Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their work and must ensure proper citation of all referenced materials.

Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, partial copying, or unacknowledged use of others’ ideas, is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and may result in manuscript rejection or article retraction after publication.
