Abstract
Makalah ini membahas tentang manajemen risiko perpustakaan antara lain terdiri dari: identifikasi risiko, evaluasi dan pengukuran risiko serta cara pengelolaan risiko. Fokus lain yang di bahas pada manajemen risiko perpustakaan adalah terkait dengan tipe-tipe risiko yaitu risiko murni dan risiko spekulatif. Kedua tipe ini masing-masing terdiri dari risiko statis dan risiko dinamis. Risiko murni statis muncul dari kondisi keseimbangan tertentu misalnya kebakaran atau kebanjiran merupakan risiko yang muncul dari kondisi alam yang tertentu. Risiko dinamis muncul dari perubahan kondisi tertentu, misalnya perubahan kondisi pelanggan (pemustaka), perubahan teknologi, munculnya jenis-jenis layanan iformasi yang baru dan lain-lain. Transaksi Internet (web) tunduk pada berbagai ancaman keamanan informasi. Kepercayaan konsumen (pemustaka) merupakan hal mendasar dalam transaksi web dan dipengaruhi oleh persepsi keamanan informasi. Alasan utama yang menyebabkan konsumen (pemustaka) kekurangan e-informasi adalah salah satunya risiko keamanan yang dirasakan terkait dengan transaksi online. Ada hubungan tertentu antara masalah keamanan elektronik dan sikap dan perilaku pelanggan informasi online. Keamanan pelanggan dalam lingkungan e-informasi adalah masalah penelitian yang sedang berlangsung terutama di bidang jasa elektronik termasuk bidang jasa perpustakaan saat ini. Makalah ini juga mencoba mengidentifikasi, mengilustrasikan dan menganalisis arah saat ini dan masa depan dalam masalah konsumen (pemustaka) dan kekhawatiran risiko keamanan informasi yang dirasakan. Juga untuk mengilustrasikan status terkini dari masalah keamanan, kepercayaan dan kekhawatiran akan sikap dan perilaku transaksi online.
