Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh antara financial knowledge, financial skills, dan income terhadap financial management behavior generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu generasi Z yang lahir pada tahun 1997 – 2005 sebanyak 160 responden. Tahapan analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji r-square, dan uji hipotesis dengan analisis path coefficient. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa income berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial management behavior. Sementara financial knowledge dan financial skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial management behavior. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada penyebaran kuesioner dalam hal proporsi responden, baik dalam segi gender maupun rentang usia. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya dapat melakukan perluasan responden dan cakupan kriteria pada variabel income.
