Abstract

Kemajuan globalisasi yang sangat pesat mendorong suatu perusahaan untuk melakukan inovasi yang lebih cepat agar dapat meraih keunggulan kompetitif dari pesaingnya. Hal ini dapat memberikan dampak secara langsung terhadap kualitas perusahaan itu sendiri. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan kecepatan inovasi dan peningkatan creative destruction untuk membentuk daya saing yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecepatan inovasi terhadap daya saing UMKM dan juga pengaruh mediasi creative destruction antara kecepatan inovasi dan daya saing UMKM pangan di Lampung. Objek penelitian ini adalah UMKM pengolahan pangan di Lampung. Penelitian ini diuji menggunakan Analisis Regresi berganda dan sobel test dengan 60 UMKM pengolahan pangan di Lampung yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, bahwa kecepatan inovasi berpengaruh positif terhadap daya saing UMKM pangan dan juga terbukti bahwa creative destruction sebagai variabel mediasi berpengaruh positif antara kecepatan inovasi dan daya saing UMKM pangan di Lampung.
