Data Availability Statement Policy

The International Journal of Halal Industry (IJHI) supports transparency, reproducibility, and integrity in scholarly research. To promote these principles, authors are encouraged to make the data, materials, codes, and other resources underlying their research findings available whenever possible and appropriate.
A Data Availability Statement must be included in all submitted manuscripts. This statement should clearly describe the availability of the data supporting the findings of the study and indicate how the data can be accessed.

Data Sharing Principles

IJHI encourages authors to share research data in a manner that enables verification, replication, and further scholarly use of published research, while respecting ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property considerations.
Authors may deposit research data in:

  • Institutional repositories;
  • Subject-specific repositories;
  • Public data repositories;
  • Supplementary files associated with the published article; or
  • Other trusted and sustainable data-sharing platforms.

Where possible, authors are encouraged to provide a persistent identifier (e.g., DOI) or a stable URL for deposited datasets.
