Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran employee engagement sebagai mediator pengaruh transformational leadership dan job satisfaction terhadap employee performance pada perusahaan start-up. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data primer yang disebarkan melalui media sosial, seperti Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, dan website jackpat.net. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan start-up di Pulau Jawa (Indonesia) yang berjumlah 210 responden. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode PLS-SEM. Hasil peneletian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership dan job satisfaction berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Akan tetapi, transformational leadership dan job satisfaction tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee performance, meskipun memiliki hubungan positif. Serta telah dibuktikan adanya peran full mediation dari employee engagement dalam hubungan tidak langsung dari pengaruh transformational leadership dan job satisfaction terhadap employee performance.
