Author Guidelines
Unisia is a peer-reviewed, international open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works in the field of social sciences and humanities. The journal covers a wide range of contemporary issues, including but not limited to religion, law, political science, sociology, psychology, economics, history, language, social work, geography, international studies, and women’s studies. Particular emphasis is placed on multidisciplinary approaches that contribute to addressing societal challenges through rigorous research and critical analysis.
Unisia encourages the submission of original research articles. Manuscripts should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words and are expected to demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and significant contributions to the development of knowledge in the relevant fields.
All submissions must be written in fluent American English. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to seek professional editing support prior to submission. The manuscript should be presented in formal academic language, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to scholarly conventions. Authors are also encouraged to employ inclusive and unbiased language throughout their work.
Each manuscript should follow a systematic structure to enhance readability and comprehension. The required elements include:
-
A title not exceeding 15 words.

The names of all authors, along with their institutional affiliations and ORCID identifiers (where available).
-
An abstract of 150–250 words, concisely summarizing the research purpose, methodology, principal findings, and significance.
-
Keywords (5–7 terms) arranged in alphabetical order.
-
The main body of the article, typically organized into: Introduction, Literature Review, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
-
Optional sections such as acknowledgments and funding information may be included where appropriate.
Formatting Guidelines:

Authors are encouraged to use Zotero or other reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote) to ensure compliance with the journal’s referencing style.
Submission and Review Process:
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s official online platform. Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two qualified reviewers. The editorial team initially evaluates the suitability of submissions in line with the journal’s scope and academic standards. Authors will receive one of the following editorial decisions: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted promptly in response to reviewer feedback.
